We have been busy putting the finishing touches to the songs for the, as yet, untitled third album. The album will probably contain only 5 songs, including a re-recording of Part 1 and should be about 60 minutes long. All we can tell so far is that this album is a slight change from our previous albums and in fact we have one or two extra songs to record in these sessions, which we felt just don't suit the mood of this album. They will probably appear on limited 12"'s in the near future. As for the new songs, they are keeping in the vein of Part 1 with a lot more diversity in the songs this time round, from soft acoustic passages to bone crushing doom. This will probably be the bleakest record we have recorded and the most experimental but don't worry we haven't wimped out just yet. Two of the songs work as one, namely Nothing and …yet everything which combine to about 30 minutes of music and there are a few surprises along the way. So don't expect an easy listen, this album as a whole will have to be absorbed for when you combine the artwork, lyrics and music the whole picture will become clear. We are expecting a March release with a tour to follow.

Not much happening lately as we are deep in the writing process. We now have 6 songs written for the, as yet, untitled third album with another two to come. The songs are again long and torturous and so the cd will probably end up with six songs just like the previous albums. Two of the songs are "Nothing" and …"yet everything "We have not strayed too far from the Mourning Beloveth sound but there are a lot of interesting developments in the new music that at least has us excited. Expect an early 2005 release.

The new Mourning Beloveth album will be recorded in Studio e, Germany in October. We are in the process of writing the new material with two songs complete, two nearing completion and 4 more still in their embryonic stages. By the time the album is ready to record we should have 6 tracks and they will display an eclectic mix of soft acoustic guitars combined together with driving melodies and mesmerising, slow guttural soul crushing doom. The apocalyptic atmospheres of certain sections are only highlighted by the intensity and bleak diversification of the more up-tempo parts creating a melting pot of desolate DOOM METAL. The lyrical content is one of light and shade, the extremes of life and the grey cosmos between where as vocally the concept of extremes are again employed as Darren and Frank trade off ethereal harmonies with mind destroying growls that has been a trademark of previous releases.
