Mourning Beloveth support Opeth in The Olympia

Oh yes we did...

This is your Captain speaking! Just after hitting planet reality after the last weeks actions, so time for a little note from us.

First and foremost, a BIG thank you to John Foley at MCD for giving us this opportunity, and to Opeth for being gracious hosts. We are much obliged Squires, thank thee. What happened to Belfast????? It was quite simple really.. About half an hour before we left for our Northern expedition, we received news that on seeing the stage specs in the S&A, the Opeth camp made the decision to pull our support slot due to the stage not being "big enough to accommodate 2 sets of backline". And that was that. It happens. To all the people who were hoping to see us, or even mildly curious about MB, we apologize for our no show. It has been far too long since we have played Ulster, and at the first opportunity, we will be back with a vengeance. Fact!

And so to Dublin...
The Olympia is still reeling, rumors of the resident house Ghosts asking for earplugs at approx 7.48pm are still unconfirmed, although highly plausable...

Massive thanks to our sound master, Mr Murph, who did us proud once again. Cheers mate. A few "timing issues" aside, it was a gig that will live long in our collective memories, for several reasons. Suffice to say, thanks and apprication goes to all that came early to catch us at the unusually early MB stage time, those that paid the ticket price specifically the see us, old fans, new recruits and everyone in between.

Again, check out youtube for a fan shot video of "The Mountains Are Mine" from the Olympia show.
